Charolette Brockwell; Lucky Shoes Fairlawn Assistant Mgr and Award Winner.
It isn't often that someone can make an impact on a business just being who they are. However, that is exactly what Charolette Brockwell, newly named assistant manager of Lucky Shoes Fairlawn Town Centre store has done.
Charolette, a Lucky Shoes team member since September 2011, has been a part of the retail world for the past 32 years and in that time has worked in several areas of retail, most recently in the "Big Box" segment. During her career, Charolette has spent much of the time in sales management, and her love visual merchandising. On a visit to the Fairlawn store you will be able to see Charolette's handy work throughout the store.
Charolette, an Ohio native is married to husband, Jay and they have a few family members of the feline and canine version, and as Charolette states,"they give unconditional love." Charolette feels strongly about giving back to the community and has volunteered at the American Cancer Discovery Shop and is an event planner for the Medina Chapter of the American Red Cross, to name a few.
Charolette and Jay enjoy traveling when time permits and in addition to the Buckeye State, they both like the beaches of Lake Michigan or traveling through the Chautauqua area of New York. Reading and bicycle riding are a couple of the hobbies Charolette enjoys as well.
But back to the impact on business; John Luck at the most recent awards dinner, awarded Charolette with the, "Special Impact Award." This is given to the individual that through their contributions to the company, in sales, motivation, cooperation, and participation have had the most positive impact on Lucky Shoes. And that would be Charolette Brockwell.
Please stop in the Fairlawn store and let Charolette and the rest of the team show you the Lucky Shoes experience. You won't be disappointed! |

This past Saturday I stopped in your SouthPark New Balance store, Strongsville on a whim. I was greated by John Ford who turned out to be a professional shoe salesman. He was able to find a perfect running shoe, for which I have been searching everywhere. I am pleased the I finally found a store that caters to serious shoe buyers.

You guys rock! I'm a customer for life! I bought two pairs of shoes from Cody, at the Fairlawn Town Centre New Balance Store back in December. He was awesome and opened my eyes to the fact that I've been wearing shoes that were the wrong size for a long time. My feet have thanked me ever since my visit. I had to recently return a pair of shoes and I was treated just as great once again. I even bought another pair of shoes while I was in. I tell everyone I come in contact with about your store and stress to them it is worth the drive to see you guys.
Thanks for everthing and keep up the great work!

I was at your Polaris New Balance store on Sunday, January 26, looking for a pair of shoes for my Jazzercise class and needed something to help my knee, since recent surgery. A gentleman named, Levi waited on me, and I want you to know he was great! Levi was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. He really made me want to buy a pair of shoes.
I worked retail several years ago and I know that you don't get positive comments very often, but I was really impressed with Levi and his assistance.

I just wanted to take a moment and say how great my shopping experience was a couple of weeks ago. Abby Bopp waited on me at your Polaris New Balance store and I have never been treated with more courtesy and knowledge than was demostrated by Abby. I would be the first to promote this woman to the highest levels and or put her in charge of training.....for we all can learn from her professionalism.

Hello, I wanted to share with you our experience today at Lucky Shoes Canton, OH. My nephew is a little over a year and we were in search of a good walking shoe for him. His foot is as wide as it is long, making it tough to find shoes to fit. We visited Lucky Shoes on Everhardt Road, Tuesday evening because they carry Stride Rite Shoes. The staff was friendly and the lady that waited on us (I apologize I cannot remember her name) was extremely helpful. We bought two pair of walking shoes in extra wide and his walking has improved immediately. Also, the sales lady for Beautifeel shoes was great too. She talked with our mother, who has several foot issues and allowed her to try on various shoes that fit her foot type. Over all our visit was fantastic! At dinner after our visit, we all repeated that we will definitely be back! It is nice in today's society to have the experience we did! Thank you!

Dear Ms. Dunphy,
THANK YOU! The recent gift from Lucky Shoes to the Education Fund at Playhouse Square will help us provide quality arts educational programming to more than 250,000 students, educators and commuity members this year.
Our dedicated Community Engagement & Education Department annually coordinates more than 250 classes, workshops and events to meet the needs of our community. But we rely on the generosity of supporters like your company to make our programs successful. Your gift helps make the difference for teenagers exploring arts careers, for educators learning how to teach through the arts, for children attending their first live therate performance, and for so many others.
Thank you again for your donation to the Education Fund at PlayhouseSquare. You make a difference for us.
Sincerely, Art J. Falco President & CEO
Dear Lucky Shoes:
